Terms of use

The service

Swaipen UF operates Swaipen. Contact people are Philip Einarsson and Jacob Beskow. The public website introduces the iPhone app and lets people with a room code join a real Tonight room in their browser. The iPhone download page shows availability; it does not promise a release date. Swaipen is free to use and this website does not sell films or streaming subscriptions.

Demonstrations and real rooms

The homepage’s movie cards, sample room, Wheel, Draft and taste examples illustrate the app. Those demonstrations run locally and reset on reload. Entering a room code opens a separate, real room under /t/. Joining there creates or reuses a guest account and saves your chosen name, room membership and votes on our backend. Reloading or leaving the room does not delete that account or its data.

Room participants see names and shared results. Share codes only with people you want in your room. The host can close a room. Keep your guest reference and browser session if you need help accessing or deleting your data. See help for web guests and the Privacy Policy.

Using Swaipen responsibly

Use a display name and any profile image you have the right to share. Do not post abusive, unlawful or misleading material, impersonate someone, disrupt rooms or try to access another person’s account or data. Report unwanted names, images, room activity or rights concerns to support@swaipen.com, including the room code and what happened. Never send passwords or sign-in tokens.

Trailers and third-party services

Swaipen uses YouTube API Services and the official embedded player for trailers. By using those trailer features, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. You must agree to Swaipen’s Privacy Policy before using the web-room features. Google handles player information under the Google Privacy Policy. You do not need to give Swaipen a YouTube password, and we do not download or re-host trailers.

Swaipen helps you choose a title; full films and episodes are watched through their own services. Streaming availability, prices and trailer access may change or differ by region. Linked services have their own terms, age restrictions and payment requirements. Cached streaming information may be out of date.

Artwork and branding

Film titles, posters and trailers belong to their respective rights holders. Their appearance does not imply endorsement by a studio or streaming service. Rights in Swaipen’s branding and code remain with their respective rights holders. See attribution for sources and credits.

Availability and your rights

The service may change or be interrupted, including while the app is being prepared for release. We do not promise that every title or room will always be available. Nothing in these terms limits responsibility where that would be unlawful or removes mandatory consumer or data-protection rights. Swedish law applies, subject to mandatory protections and courts available to you under applicable law.
